Abstract

Introduction: The evaluation acquire importance when is necessary to identify improvement and opportunity areas.

Objective: To evaluate the continua education program in a Psychiatric clinic.

Material and methods: This study is focused in the evaluation programs, was made in a Psychiatric Clinic in San Luis Potosi, City in 2015. The tool applied was made by the National Evaluation Council “Consistent evaluation and outcomes”, which measures standards based in documents and evidence, and gives a fulfilment from 0 to 4 (highest level). The analysis was made through the Social Science Statistics Program (SPSS v. 18), getting a descriptive statistic. Was classified as a non-risk research and was approved by the Bioethics and Research Committee with CPDENP-CIS-1515 registration.

Results: The general average of the fulfilment was 2.3, related to dimension the ones who got the highest level were “program operation” and “the perception of population attended”, in so far as the lowest level was to have with “results measurement” or impact of the program.

Conclusions: The most of the dimensions evaluated got a medium level of fulfilment and are in ways to get the maximum level, under this perspective, the study let to identify the potential improve and opportunity areas.
