Section Policies
Revista de Enfermería Neurológica comprises the following sections:
Works submitted for this section must be original results from a high-level academic work, from basic or clinical research, dealing with the thematic areas of the journal’s interest. Every text submitted to this section must accredit a rigorous peer review under the modality of double blind. In this section, the authors must observe the correct submission of the following documents over the OJS platform:
- Front page as an independent file;
- Abstract, structured in function of the requirements for Original articles;
- Key words;
- Body of the article structured in function of the requirements for Original articles (for further information on the submission requirements for this section, see Guidelines for authors).
It is a detailed, selective and critical study that integrates the most relevant information on a specific topic. Its purpose is to examine the published bibliography and locate it in an analytical perspective. Every text intended for this section must accredit a rigorous peer review process under the modality of double blind. In this section, the authors must consider the correct submission of the following documents over the OJS platform:

- Abstract, structured in function of the requirements for Review article;
- Key words;
- Body of the article structured in function of the requirements for Review articles (for further information on the submission requirements for this section, see Guidelines for authors).
Studies produced on the basis of specialized observations related to the attention of one or more clinical cases or a series of cases (more than three cases), which usually involves an infrequent, emerging, reemerging nosological entity or one that appears in an atypical manner. As well, unseen effects of a diagnostic or therapeutic method that is useful or relevant in the medical, academic or scientific spheres can be reported. Every text submitted to this section must accredit a rigorous peer review process under the modality of double blind. In this section, the authors must consider the correct submission of the following documents over the OJS platform:

Clinical trials
Medical research works carried out on people that voluntarily offer their participation to validate the efficacy and safety of drugs, therapies, diagnoses or treatments. Every text submitted to this section must accredit a rigorous peer review process under the modality of double blind. In this section, the authors must consider the correct submission of the following documents over the OJS platform:

- Key words;

Clinical practice
A set of recommendations based on a systematic review of scientific evidence and the assessment of risks and benefits from various alternative cares, both for primary-assistance or general doctors and specialists with a view to optimizing patient attention. Every text submitted to this section must accredit a rigorous peer review process under the modality of double blind. In this section, the authors must consider the correct submission of the following documents over OJS platform:
- Front page as an independent file;
- Abstract, structured in function of the requirements for Clinical cases, clinical trials and clinical practice;
- Key words;
- Body of the article structured in function of the requirements for Clinical cases (for further information on the submission requirements for this section, see Guidelines for authors).
These focus on only one topic and refer to articles with preliminary data. They must be concise and expose a new standpoint on the topic. Every text submitted to this section will be reviewed and approved by the editor. In this section, the authors must consider the correct submission of the following documents over the OJS platform:

Letters written as an answer to some previously published content in REN, their publication is at the editor’s discretion.
