The Neurological Nursing Journal (REN) (04-2019-060413053900-203) is a quarterly publication that disseminates professional and academic research from the international nursing community interested in generating new concepts, ideas, techniques, and procedures in the area of neurosciences. in the modality of original articles, review articles, clinical case reports, essays, daily clinical practice, letters to the editor and brief communications. It disseminates contributions in Spanish and English, which are subjected to a peer review process, under the double-blind modality.
The main objective of the REN is to disseminate topics of scientific and technological innovation of scientific work in nursing and neurosciences.

The REN is an Open Access publication, whose contents are disseminated under a CC-BY-NC 4.0 International license, without charging for publication. It is published every four months, edited and financed by the Nursing Research Coordination of the Nursing Branch of the Manuel Velasco Suárez National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery.
The REN adheres to the general guidelines established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
